Friday Night Lights, The largest Youth Flag Football League in the United States is pleased to offer a FIRST CLASS and AFFORDABLE Sideline Cheer Program for kids in Grades Kinder-8th for the Fall and Spring Seasons.  Now the entire family can experience the FUN and COMRADERIE that is the cornerstone of the Friday Night Lights Football League.  

Registration will include one indoor practice per week, cheering their age appropriate group on Friday Nights and their Cheer Uniform (see below).  Your daughters training will include: Sideline Cheer, arm movements, jumps and halftime dance.  There will be no "stunts" or "tumbling" taught in this program. This program will be about promoting cheer, dance, safety and a GOOD TIME!

Desert Sands Cheer Coordinator:  Adrinna Teran

The FNL Cheer program will be under the direction of Nida (Nafarrete) Pagett and Annette Morris.  Together they have over 30 years experience instructing DANCE and CHEER.  

Nida has extensive experience in performing, teaching and coaching both dance and cheer for over 25 years.  She received her degree in dance from UC Irvine.  Her cheer experience includes: Los Alamitos H.S, UC Irvine and the Los Angeles Rams Cheer.  She was also an instructor for the US Spiritleaders Cheer and Dance organization for 5 years.  She also taught ballet, jazz, and hip hop at Center Stage Dance Academy in Long Beach for 5 years.

Annette has been involved extensively at the teaching level of Cheer and the Competition level of Cheerleading.  She has over 15 years of cheerleading experience.  Annette spent three years with  Los Alamitos Pop Warner where she directed her teams to Nationals as the Assistant Coordinator and Head Coordinator.  She spent her high school years cheering for Downey High School.  Her leadership has taken her cheer squads from San Diego to Florida to compete at the National levels.
